How to find domain names based on company names

You can find on Phantombuster (they have a free trial) the simplest way to find domain names based on company names. This is particularly useful if you want to enrich the domain names later (for example, to get email adresses)

The configuration is pretty simple for this one, simply follow the instruction from the link above.

However, in the configuration, you'll find a list of "ignored domains". What the script does is that it goes on various web search websites (google.com, yahoo.com, duckduckgo.com, etc.) and record the first result. When looking at a company on the web, you can find - as a first result - a global website that is not actually the real website of the company (for instance, wikipedia.org).

I'll advise to add these domains to the Ignored domains list (you only have to do this once):

  • glassdoor.com
  • tripadvisor.com
  • thefreedictionary.com
